Annual Spring Festivals: April, May and June 2008
Actively participate in festivals from Northern to Southern Japan in spring - Festivals of Kamakura, Hakata Dontaku, Takigi Noh and many more… Such as: Let's dance in squares together! Japan's largest citizens' festival, with a history of 800 years.

Huis Ten Bosch
In English, Huis Ten Bosch means "House in the forest." And true to its name this residential-style resort has canals running throughout, is surrounded by greenery, forests, amusements, shops, restaurants, five distinct hotels, a marina and residential area.

Anime, from the word "animation", has become an extremely popular Japanese culture all over the world. Known for its fine presentation techniques, the vast variety of genres and themes, and beautifully drawn characters, anime is considered to be one of the most important cultural exports, especially to the younger generations. These are some must-see points and events when it comes to anime:

Tokyo International Animation Fair
The Tokyo International Animation Fair (TAF) is an annual event highlighting animation in which many products designed by both professionals and amateurs are exhibited. It is the world largest anime exhibition, and it has attracted attentions from all over the world. This year's schedule is from 27 March 2008 to 30 March 2008 (public attendance on only 29 and 30th), and more ticket information was announced in January 2008.

Tokyo Anime Center
Are you an anime fan? Visiting Akihabara? Then find out more about this special anime capsule only a few blocks from JR Akihabara station. Take part in special screenings, shop limited edition goodies and absorb your senses with 3D anime.

Ghibli Museum
The Ghibli Museum is located in Mikata, a western suburb near Tokyo, featuring the work from Studio Ghibli. Hayao Miyazaki, founder and key person of this studio, is known for his anime works such as "Princess Mononoke", "My Neighbor Totoro", and the Academy Award winning "Spirited Away" (Best Animated Feature Film, 2002). The museum is opened from 10:00 to 18:00, and entrance to this museum requires an advance purchase of the reserved ticket, which specifies the appointed date of the reservation. Akihabara (Tokyo)
Akihabara is famous for its enormous number of electronic stores which deals with all kinds of appliances, computers, games, cameras, CDs, DVDs, etc. at discount prices. It is now also the mecca for anime fans to visit and shop. Some of the popular anime shopping spots include Animate, Asobit City, Pokémon Center and so on. Travelers can also visit the manga café, maid café, or butler café if they wish to take a rest and enjoy an afternoon tea.

Tokyo Tower
Tokyo Tower is a symbol and sightseeing spot of Tokyo, and it has appeared in numerous anime and Sci-Fi scenes such as in "You're Under Arrest", "Kamen Rider", "Card Captor Sakura", "X", and so on. It serves as a transmission tower for the entire Tokyo area, and visitors can also enjoy its art gallery, museum, aquarium, and observatory inside. It's that time again for the Sumo tournaments to begin for the 2008 season. The first tournament of the year will take place in Tokyo from January 7th - 21st. The next tournament will be the Osaka tournament that will be held on March 11th - 25th. Read more…

Ichiro Suzuki, Hideki Matsui, Daisuke Matsuzaka are just a few players that have come from Japanese Pro Baseball. As spring rolls around, it is that time again for baseball to begin. Japan has a wonderful transportation system that is punctual and safe and can get you to all most all areas of Japan without a car.
