Martial arts enthusiasts can now visit the birthplace of karate and learn all about the roots of this indigenous Okinawan technique, the role it has played in Okinawan culture, and how it has spread to mainland Japan and the rest of the world. The new museum is conveniently located next to the Prefectural Hall of Martial Arts and Naha airport.
