Playing the 50 years of friendship between Kyoto and Boston

Director of the American-Japanese Cultural Concert Series, Keisuke Wakao (Boston Symphony Orchestra)

To commemorate the 50 years of the sister city relationship between Boston, Massachusetts and Kyoto, Japan, the American-Japanese Cultural Concert Series will present four members of the world's renowned Boston Symphony Orchestra in three special American-Japanese concerts in April, 2009. The Orchestra's Japanese oboist Keisuke Wakao initiates this anniversary concert in the metropolitan Boston area.
