Japan is going to be even closer as a number of direct flights between Tokyo and the US are set to increase by the end of 2016. One of Japan’s largest airlines ANA launched a new timetable for Haneda to the US routes, commencing on October 30, 2016. Haneda airport is located approximately 30 minutes south of central Tokyo and it is significantly closer to the heart of Tokyo metropolitan area than Narita airport.

Under the new timetable, ANA opened new routes from New York and Chicago to Haneda. Both new routes are operating daily with Boeing’s 777-300ER aircraft.

Hawaiian Airlines will run new flights three times a week between Kona and Haneda and are available on December 20, 2016. Furthermore, an extra flight will operate four times a week with weekly service from Honolulu to Haneda on December 21, 2016.
