More Cruises Focusing on Japan in 2016.

The number of cruise lines that operate Japan cruises has increased quite a bit recently, notably since Princess Cruises launched their Japanese built Diamond Princess in 2014, joining the Sun Princess. Other cruise lines are offering tours departing from Japan and/or calling at one or more ports in Japan, often in conjunction with other Asian ports of call.
