Peach Aviation is the brand name of Japan's first LLC aviation company started in association with All Nippon Airways. LLC, which stands for Low Cost Carrier, was created to accommodate the needs of the ever-growing number of both tourists and business people flying between Japan and various Asian cities, by offering them a convenient and economical travel option.
Even though they offer the most reasonable rates available, Peach is by no means just a no-frills method of transport from point A to point B. Peach pledges to provide competitive pricing combined with Japan's excellent service and renowned safety record. Prices will be kept as low as possible by establishing new approaches to the current airline industry structure.
Peach is based out of Osaka's Kansai International Airport, and since March 1st provides domestic service to Fukuoka, Sapporo, Nagasaki, and soon, to Kagoshima. Service to Okinawa will also be available starting July. Starting May 8th, they will begin international service to Seoul, with Hong Kong and Taipei service soon to follow.
But why "Peach"? Well, peaches are enjoyed worldwide, but Asians have a particular affinity for the beautiful fruit, and not only for its flavor and form. Throughout Asia, the peach is said to be a symbol of prosperity, vitality and happiness. When the company selected its corporate color, needless to say, it was pink!
That Japan shows great foresight in providing low-cost, high-quality, convenient air service to an ever-growing market surely is…peachy!
