Swissôtel Nankai Osaka and Takashimaya Department Osaka Store will collaborate in providing complimentary translation service for guests who stay at Swissôtel Nankai Osaka and shop at the Takashimaya Osaka Store, “Attend Service”, starting from September 1, 2010. The service will be available for English or Chinese, and guests will be fully attended to and personally assisted with their shopping needs at the store by professional translators.
The “Attend Service” will be informed to all foreign guests with a flyer that will be placed at hotel front desk in Chinese and English; the service can be reserved at the hotel bell desk. Once guests have made a booking, the service attendant from Takashimaya will meet guests at the hotel bell desk at the reserved time and will be escorted with full translation service for shopping at Takashimaya Osaka Store. After shopping, guests will also be assisted with filling out duty free application form and will be guided back to the hotel.
Both Swissôtel Nankai Osaka and Takashimaya Osaka Store are directly connected to each
other and located in heart of Minami Area, known as the gateway city, “Namba”. This direct access from Kansai International Airport and the proximity to major tourist spots makes travelers feel the real pulse of Osaka. Takashimaya has undergone extensive expansion and improvements, which add to Namba’s further seamless access appeal and comfort to travelers from overseas. The “Attend Service” will be one of the new approaches for further enhancement of this shopping mecca.
