A Nikko hike produced by local highschool student By JR East

 

Ekikara Hiking (Hiking from the Station) is a one-day event starting from Nikko Station that anyone can participate in easily. It consists of hiking while experiencing the historical buildings and abundant nature of Nikko. Participation is free of charge. Participation in the Ekikara Hiking event is very simple! All you need to do is apply through this website and then go to the reception counter in Nikko on the day of the event!

Date: August 7th, 2010 (Sat)
Application Time: 9:30-11:30
Reception Area: R Nikko Station
Walking Time Approx. two and a half hours (excluding tours of establishments)
Walking Distance Approx. 11 km
Tour Fee: Free of Charge
Lunch: Feel free to bring your own lunch.
Guide: This is not a guided tour. You can walk around there freely with a map.
No guide is attended, but the local high school students will explain to you about the areas of interest on the hiking course!
