NAGOYA, Japan – (6 July 2010) – Summer is here and Hilton Nagoya is celebrating with its "Junior Journey Ambassador" event – a very special summer vacation program for children.
The event will be held at the hotel from Tuesday, August 17 through Thursday, August 19 2010.
A Journey Ambassador is a Hilton hotel employee dedicated to making a guest's journey as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. This summer, the Hilton Nagoya invites children to be 'Junior Journey Ambassadors', providing young participants with an unprecedented opportunity to explore the hotel and meet the hotel's international team. The hotel tour, led by a bilingual speaker, will introduce the participants to key international employees, entertain the children with fun quizzes and provide exciting on-the-job training. The aim is to help children learn and practice speaking the English language while participating in an exciting program of activities, and experiencing the fascinating "back-of-house" operations of an international hotel.
"This is a special treat for these children as our guests are not usually permitted access to the operational sites at the hotel," said Hilton Nagoya General Manager Jamie Mead. "We are excited about working with these young people and look forward to introducing them to the hospitality industry. With all of the activities planned, we know this program will pique the natural curiosity of children."
After the tour, parents and children will enjoy either a delicious lunch buffet at The Terrace Brasserie or a dessert buffet at The Gallery. At the end of the program, the children will be presented with a souvenir tour guide book, photograph and certificate of participation.
Make this summer truly special for you and your child by joining Hilton Nagoya's Junior Journey Ambassador program. Be sure to act fast as spots in the program are limited!
