Special Exhibition 2010 "JOHN & YOKO - STARTING OVER” at the John Lenon Museum

The John Lennon Museum (Junichi Mizusawa, General Manager of the Museum/ Chuo-ku, Saitama-city) will be holding the special exhibition entitled “JOHN & YOKO - STARTING OVER” at Event Room on the 5th floor, from April 7, 2010 through September 30, 2010.

This year is the 50th year since the Beatles with John Lennon as the leader were enthusiastically welcomed to Litherland Town Hall after gaining their experience in Hamburg. It is also the 70th anniversary of John Lennon’s birth, and the 30th anniversary of his death. Moreover, “Double Fantasy,” the album that John Lennon sang about starting over, was released after five years of suspending his musical activities to take care of his son, Sean, and “Starting Over,” the song dedicated to Yoko as the finishing touch to the album, completed also in the summer 30 years ago.
